Films I Want To Watch This Year

There's a lots of awesome films coming out this year so I thought I would do a quick round up of what I want to watch in the first half of 2018.

What will you be watching?


February

Recognition - In the near future, a married woman secretly works for an organisation that manipulates memories, while her husband is experiencing visions from a past he can't remember which is tearing them apart.

Black Panther - T'Challa, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king.

The Shape of Water - At a top secret research facility in the 1950s, a lonely janitor forms a unique relationship with an amphibious creature that is being held in captivity.

Annihilation - A biologist signs up for a dangerous, secret expedition where the laws of nature don't apply.


March

The Meg - After escaping an attack by what he claims was by a 7--foot shark, Jonas Taylor must confront his fears to save those trapped in a sunken submersible.

Tomb Raider - Lara Croft, the fiercely independent daughter of a missing adventurer, must push herself beyond her limits when she finds herself on the island where her father disappeared.

Pacific Rim: Uprising - Jake Pentecost, son of Stacker Pentecost, reunites with Mako Mori to lead a new generation of Jaeger pilots, including rival Lambert and 15-year-old hacker Amara, against a new Kaiju threat.

Proud Mary - Mary (Taraji P. Henson) is a hit woman working for an organized crime family in Boston, whose life is completely turned around when she meets a young boy whose path she crosses when a professional hit goes bad.

Ready Player One - When the creator of a virtual reality world called the OASIS dies, he releases a video in which he challenges all OASIS users to find his Easter Egg, which will give the finder his fortune. Wade Watts finds the first clue and starts a race for the Egg.


April, May & June

Rampage - Based on the classic 1980s video game featuring apes and monsters destroying cities.

Avengers: Infinity War - The Avengers and their allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe.

Game Night - A group of friends who meet regularly for game nights find themselves trying to solve a murder mystery.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom - When the island's dormant volcano begins roaring to life, Owen and Claire mount a campaign to rescue the remaining dinosaurs from this extinction-level event.

Ant-Man and the Wasp - As Scott Lang balances being both a Super Hero and a father, Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym present an urgent new mission that finds the Ant-Man fighting alongside The Wasp to uncover secrets from their past.

  1. So many amazing films coming out this year! I can't wait for Black Panther and Infinity War - I've heard great things about BP so far. I think some of my favourite films of the year will be Three Billboards, Shape of Water and I,Tonya. Awesome post xx
