Birthday!!

So like I mentioned in a post a couple days ago it was my 20th birthday last Saturday (6th). I went out in the evening but I didn't really take any pictures of my outfit so I thought I'd show you some of the stuff I got from my parents and sister.

Converse Top- from New York| Casette iPhone case- Similar here| Belkin iPhone case- Similar here

This goes around the back of a microphone on a stand to stop noise being recorded. Although it was bought for my birthday, it's something both me and my sister will use and I'll probably only ever use it when she's at home anyway. Our mini studio is beginning to take shape.

The Host- Stephanie Meyer| Survival- Chris Ryan| Ratcatcher- Chris Ryan
The Ruins| Ponyo| Right at your Door| Priest
Books and DVDs are my favourite type of present! Anyone who knows me knows I'm obssessed with dvds and special features so these were perfect. I've been reading actual books a lot more recently rather then on my phone when I found a bunch that I've had for 2 years but never read.

Satchel- Zatchels| iPhone 3gs- my mum's old phone

and finally this amazing beauty is now in my possession

Pretty much in love with everything Samsung even though I've changed to an iPhone, but the iPhone has way better memory then my Samsung and I've wanted an iPhone for years.

Haul: Part One

Origin: Spirits of the Past (Keiichi Sugiyama, 2006), £3
Faster (George Tillman. Jr, 2010), £3
The Reaping (Stephen Hopkins, 2007), £3
Sucker Punch (Zack Snyder, 2011), £3
The Bone Collector (Phillip Noyce, 1999), £3
The Fifth Element (Luc Besson, 1997), £3
This Christmas (Preston A. Whitmore II, 2007), £3

I was so happy when HMV began accepting gift cards again as I had some money left over from Christmas, so on Tuesday I went to my local store and spent an hour browsing the shelves for some goodies. Sucker Punch was the only one I had already seen, I did a review on it early last year (I'll redo it at some point) but I loved it so much that I just had to buy it. I bought Faster the week before I bought the rest when HMV stopped accepting gift cards.
My best friend and her mum are always on at me to watch The Fifth Element but I never bothered but when I saw it in HMV I thought why not and the rest were just films that caught my eye while I was browsing and I thought might be interesting

My sister had a bit of a wardrobe clear-out the other day so I had a look through the bags to what I could steal for myself and I found this dress, the print on it says 'Love is Hard' and apparently it's a size 14 but it fits more like a 10-12. I already have something similar from H&M without the print but it's a size 12. My dog print vest from Choies which I did an outfit post with.
I got my crayon scribble jeans (as I like to call them) last week in the sale at H&M, I had seen them before but I never buy jeans from H&M because the sizes are weird on me. I tried them on and like all of my jeans they're a little big (not sure what size they actually are), but I thought I might as well get them. The skirt was a nice little surprise gift I got this week, it's in a size 8 because I tend to wear my skirts quite high waisted.

So that's some of the stuff I bought in the past few weeks. I'll do part two when I get my New Look parcel.
Let me know what you think :)
