366 Films - 3 Years

So a couple of weeks back was my blogs 3rd birthday so I thought I’d do another small reflection post but this time about the movies that have helped make my blog.

In the 3 years since I started my goal to watch 100 films I’d never seen before in one year, I’ve managed to watch a grand total of 366, 103 in 2010, 140 in 2011 and 123 in 2012.

Some of the films from 2010 were given to me by my teaches at sixth-form or we watched them during class, while the majority of the films in 2011 and 12 are films that we were required to watch for the modules on my film course at university. I’ve seen some amazing films and I’ve seen some terrible films but it’s been a good ride.

Since my original goal to watch 100 films I’ve not made another one because Uni has taken over my life and I don’t have enough free time, although I do watch most films that I’ve never seen before at Uni so it would be an easier task. I would like to make another goal to watch 200 movies but I don’t know if I’ll actually get round to it.

To round off the films I watched last year here the list for December:

The Conformist (Bernardo Bertolucci, 1970)
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2(Bill Condon, 2012)
The A-Team (Joe Carnahan, 2010)
Noel (Chazz Palminteri, 2004)
A Boyfriend For Christmas (Kevin Connor,2004)
Transporter 3(Olivier Megaton, 2008)
The Holiday (Nancy Meyers, 2006)
G-Force (Hoyt Yeatman, 2009)
Planet of the Apes (Franklin Schaffner, 1968)

  3. Gee, I don't know how many films I have watched but I know most of them are foreign. I just love internation films and I wish iTunes would satisfy my hunger for foreign films. LOL

    1. Haha, I know I've seen a lot more but I don't remember them. I've seen quite a few foreign films since I started my course, I never watched a film on iTunes though, would be good for when I'm travelling.
