30 Movies That Aren't As Bad As You Remember - Part 1

I found this mega cool article on Total Film about movies that aren't as bad as you remember them which I thought was definitely worth a feature on the ol' blog. I think it's such a good idea to go back and take another look at films to see if they're as bad as you remember.

30. Twilight (2008)
29. Spawn (1997)
28. Lady In The Water (2006)
Now we all know I love me a bit of Twilight and that I can also see why people hate it, but honestly the first one is the best of the lot. I pretty much always think that the first film in a series is the best one. With Twilight its fresh story that people may not have seen before and Jacob keeps his shirt on.

I've wanted to see Lady In The Water for ages now, but it's another film I haven't gotten round to watching.

27. Cutthroat Island (1995)
26. John Carter (2012)
25. Hudson Hawk (1991)
I wanted to see John Carter when I first saw the trailers for it but I think I lost interest when I kept hearing loads of people say it was awful. I should still probably see it so I can see for myself what's so bad about it.

24. Spiderman 3 (2007)
23. Miami Vice (2006)
22. Cowboys & Aliens (2011)
Bleurgh Spiderman, I've never really been a massive fan of Spiderman, but the first of the original trilogy (with Tobey Maguire) is my ultimate favourite even against the new updated The Amazing Spiderman.

I really, really like Cowboys & Aliens, I've seen it quite a few times. There are definitely things that could have been better or made clearer but I didn't think it was as bad as a lot of people said it was.

20. The Razor's Edge (1984)
19. Terminator Salvation (2009)
I think Hook is a pretty amazing film. I couldn't get enough of it as a child and watched it repeatedly with my sister; I mean who doesn't love a bit of "Run Home Jack".

I've only seen the third original Terminator film (which I didn't like) I'm not really sure what it was about and how it links to Terminator Salvation.

16. Tron: Legacy (2010)
I absolutely loved Tron: Legacy, I even watched in 3D (which I'll admit was a waste of time and money). The story and the acting is definitely weak in parts but as we all know I love a good and they are what did it for me. Well almost, the soundtrack is absolutely amazing (can anybody say DAFT PUNK)!

15. Halloween (2007)
I've only seen the original Halloween which I thought was good, but I've heard that most of the sequels aren't very good. I'm not a horror film fan so I don't have much interest in watching any of the others.
