Outfit | Blue/Grey

There's a massive difference between these four photos, the top two were taken with my new Nikon D3300 and the bottom two were taken with my Samsung WB100.

Blue Grey Blue Grey 2 After debating about buying a DSLR for a couple of years I finally decided to just do it, and I bought my Nikon back in January from John Lewis. I haven't used it a lot to be completely honest (I've used it a few times) but I want to learn more about it. I've just started an online class to help me learn more about my camera and what it can do, I'm only on lesson one at the moment but I'll update you on how it's going.

Anyway last weekend (just after the crazy storm we had) I decided to take some outfit photos with the Nikon and they turned out incredibly good, they're so bright, vivid and there's tons of detail. I don't yet have a remote for the camera so I had to keep running back and forth to set the timer, which annoyed me so I ended up switching to my Samsung.

I really need to buy a remote!

These pictures are grainy, not as vivid and just a bit grey. The WB100 is actually quite a good camera, I've used it hundreds of times (for 99% of my outfit photos) and I've taken some REAL GOOD photos with it, I think it was probably just the lighting that's made them look like that.

What camera do you use for your photos?

Outfit | Split Sides

I actually wore this outfit when I went down to Brighton a couple of months ago but I only took the pictures recently. Whoops.

I want to do a proper post on my next trip to Brighton in the future but for those interested in where I stayed this time around, I stayed at The Queens Hotel for an incredibly good price of £50 for a night but that probably because my stay was back in early February.

I'm completely in love with the split sides trend I've been seeing everywhere lately! I had Missgudied's Extreme Side Spit Jumper saved in my bookmarks for a good few weeks before I actually ordered it and I absolutely love it. I love that the Extreme Side Split gives the jumper the high-lo look and despite the splits it's actually really warm. I did think it would be a lighter grey like the one shown on the website but I think I prefer this colour better.
Well I've actually had these jeans since around November but this is the first time they're featuring on the blog. These ridley's were my first pair of highwaisted jeans and I ordered them in a 28 waist (which of course is too big) but as they don't do a 27 and I thought a 26 would be too small I just kept the bigger size.

Do you like the side split trend?

Outfit | Cinema Trip

I wore this WAY back in August on a trip to the cinema with my parents to watch Dawn of the Planet of the Apes which by the way was absolutely brilliant, a bit more talky then the first one but still a fantastic watch.

Onto the outfit. I bought this little jacket a while back in Primark I really love the baseball jacket style and have wanted one for ages, I should have brought this one back though as the stupid thing doesn't have any pockets. The top was another buy from a while ago but from ASOS, I originally ordered a size 8 but it was huge so I re-ordered a 6 instead which is still quite big but I never reordered another size.
The jeans were a birthday present from my sister as much as I love them they sit way way too low, and finally these awesome shoes are from New Look.

Outfit | Father's Day

Dress, TFNC via ASOS - £38 | Biker Jacket, H&M - £14.99 | Clutch (Actually a tablet case), Linea @ House of Fraser - Sample Sale | Shoes, Notting Hill - £5

This is only the second time I've had someone take my outfit pictures for me and I absolutely loved how they turned out.

We went to Prezzo for Father's Day and I told my sister that I wanted to take outfit pictures before we left so we rushed out after a very yummy dessert and began snapping away on my dad's iPhone.

I first wore this dress for my birthday in April and thought I'd get it out again because I haven't worn it since and I just love the fit and fluffy skirt. This jacket was a very lucky buy that I managed to get in H&M. I had been searching for the black one in a 12 after finding a brown one and was just about to pay for my other things sadly and leave before I spotted a pile on the counter, so I grabbed one, paid and left a happy bunny.
I'm actually a size 10 in jackets but I didn't want it to fitted just in case I wanted to wear a jumper underneath it.

ASOS Saved List

Click the images to take you to the items

I've been getting into bodycon dress and skirts recently hence the number of tight dress in my saved list, the black midi dress with the lace sides is my absolute favourite. I tried on the maxi dress at work in electric blue and navy, both the maxi and the midi had lace sides and back but the maxi has cap sleeves and a thigh high split at the side. I couldn't bring myself to buy it (despite only being like £60) as I don't have any where to wear it so I went looking for a shorter version, sadly the only colours I can find are peach, black and cream.

I absolutely love the strappy back on the red dress, I love the mesh panels on the first dress and I'm totally feeling the whole dungarees trend but I'm not to sure I could pull it off but I love the way it's been styled here.

New In

| Indigo Double Zip Jeans, Mint Velvet - £69 | Batman Black Leggings, Romwe - Giveaway Win | Black Sports Pant, Mint Velvet - £69 |

| Denim Shirt, Primark via Asos - £10 | Denim Vest, Forever 21 - £19.75 |

| Black Pinafore Dress, River Island - £20 |

| Honey Wrap Back Tee, Mint Velvet - £55

Sorry about the weird lighting and the almost impossible to see dress.

So the jeans, sports pants and the wrap back tee are all part of my uniform at work and I got them all with my staff discount. I pratically live in these jeans and I got them in a size 8 which was a first for me, I don't think I'll wear them much when doing practical work at uni as I don't want to ruin them.
I've not worn the leggings or the waistcoat but I plan to wear the waistcoat when the weather's nice on one of my days off.

I wore this shirt in my Father's Day Outfit. Finally this pinafore dress was bought during my trip to brighton and for £20! I was a little unsure of how to wear it at first but I've managed to style it a few different ways.

OOTD: Crayons

Jumper, EVER OURS - £7 | Jeans, H&M - £7 | Bag, Primark - Gift

So another outfit post! I wore this last Saturday on a packed day out with the family. After an early start we headed off to my Nan's house in central London where we all had a nice catch up and were fed delicious soup before we went on our way to the hospital to visit my poorly Grandad.
I did try to get some work on my essay done but being with my cousins I tend to get distracted, more then usual

Now onto the outfit. I haven't worn these jeans for a couple of months, I've only just rediscovered them after putting them in the wash ages ago. The sun was out so I thought I'd throw on the lightest pair of jeans I have. I paired it with my amazing jumper from EVER OURS (with a vest underneath because it was a bit chilly) and brought my massive bag along so I could bring my laptop, charger and some uni stuff.
