So I've been so busy these past few weeks, I completely forgot to post the second half of November's In the Cinema. Final year is absolutely hectic!!!


December 6th

Oldboy - Obsessed with vengeance, a man sets out to find out why he was kidnapped and locked into solitary confinement for 20 years without reason.

A Long Way From Home - A couple realise their dream of retiring to the South of France. Their life changes dramatically when they meet another, younger couple.

Black Nativity - A street-wise teen from Baltimore who has been raised by a single mother travels to New York City to spend the Christmas holiday with his estranged relatives, where he embarks on a surprising and inspirational journey.

Frozen (3D) - Fearless optimist Anna teams up with Kristoff in an epic journey, encountering Everest-like conditions, and a hilarious snowman named Olaf in a race to find Anna's sister Elsa, whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom in eternal winter.

Getaway - Former race-car driver Brent Magna is pitted against the clock when his wife is kidnapped by a mysterious villain. He commandeers a young woman's car and takes her on on a high-speed race against time.

Homefront - A former DEA agent moves his family to a quiet town, where he soon tangles with a local meth druglord.

Kill Your Darlings - A murder in 1944 draws together the great poets of the beat generation: Allen Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac and William Burroughs.


December 13th

The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug - The dwarves, along with Bilbo Baggins and Gandalf the Grey, continue their quest to reclaim Erebor, their homeland, from Smaug. Bilbo Baggins is in possession of a mysterious and magical ring.

The Christmas Candle - Deep in the heart of the English countryside lies the enchanting village of Gladbury. Legend has it every 25 years an angel visits the village candlemaker and touches a single candle. Whoever lights this candle receives a miracle on Christmas Eve.

Tyler Perry's A Madea Christmas - Madea dispenses her unique form of holiday spirit on rural town when she's coaxed into helping a friend pay her daughter a surprise visit in the country for Christmas.
